Jeff Hurlbut

Pastor Jeff and his wife Shayla are blessed to be back in Oklahoma after spending 11 years as NAMB missionaries and church planters in Utah. Before their time in Utah, Jeff served as pastor at FBC Cheyenne and FBC Eakly, and on staff as Youth/Music minister at FBC Tonkawa and Oakstreet Baptist Church in Kingfisher. In all, he has served on church staff and as NAMB missionary for the past 25 years. Shayla served as Women's Ministry Consultant to the Utah-Idaho Southern Baptist Convention for 5 years, making lifelong friends while serving the women of Utah and Idaho.

The couple is blessed with 4 beautiful daughters, 3 handsome son-in-laws and 2 precious grand daughters, all whom love the Lord making pastor Jeff and his wife Shayla so  grateful for God's goodness.

They are looking forward to seeing God's plan unfold for Berryhill Baptist Church as they seek to pour their lives into the precious people and community and invite you to come join them as they seek to bring honor and glory to Him from whom all blessings flow!

Virginia McGlothlin

Virginia has been our secretary since 2004.  Although her duties are behind the desk, her service to this church is wherever there's a need.  She has served as a Sunday School Teacher of both children and youth.  She cooks for our youth at Falls Creek every summer.  If you need to know something you can ask her and if you doesn't know, she can find out.

Virginia loves the Lord and loves her church family and desires to see it grow.  So, if you are looking for a church family, she would love for you to come and see what she loves about Berryhill Baptist Church.

Children's Area

At Berryhill Baptist Church our goal is that all children feel a sense of belonging in our church family. Each child is welcomed and wanted. We strive for each child to know that God is real and to have a personal relationship with Him.

Our desire is:

  • To help each child develop a lifestyle that is built on their relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • To help each child understand that God's Word (the Bible) is relevant and that growth in Bible knowledge results in positive changes in attitudes, action and life-style.
  • To help the child grow in their relationships with other believers and with their non-churched friends.
  • To provide children the opportunity and direction to participate in ministry.
  • To support the family in their responsibility for the spiritual nurture and growth of their child.
  • To provide Godly teachers who are adequately trained to serve as positive role models while they minister with children.
